PIN's vision is to ensure the right to mental health for all citizens of Serbia.
Mission
Our mission is to implement a biopsychosocial and empirically based model of mental health protection grounded in human rights.
We achieve our goals through four sectors:
Our specific goals focus on improving mental health policies and practices, ensuring accessible, affordable, appropriate, and high-quality community mental health services, and overcoming social barriers that negatively impact mental health.
Providing comprehensive psychological support services focused on mental health.
- Overcoming difficulties, empowerment, and improving the quality of life for individuals and vulnerable groups.
- Enhancing access to mental health services, especially for vulnerable and marginalized groups with limited access.
- Establishing timely, multidisciplinary, and high-quality responses to crisis situations.
- Improving the availability, accessibility, and quality of mental health services within the community.
Public advocacy for advancing mental health protection policies and practices.
- Informing the wider community, professionals, and decision-makers about current issues in mental health promotion and protection.
- Promoting and protecting mental health at national and international levels through multidisciplinary and multisectoral cooperation.
- Enhancing the regulatory framework and its implementation in mental health protection.
