Maša Vukčević Marković, PhD

Maša has extensive experience in providing direct psychological support to vulnerable groups, conducting research, and advocating for the improvement of mental health care. She is a founder, coordinator, and member of numerous national and international bodies, consortia, working groups, and teams through which she promotes multisectoral and multidisciplinary cooperation aimed at improving mental health care in Serbia and the region. Her primary focus is on applied research in the field of mental health and on advocating for evidence-based practices and policies, with a particular emphasis on needs assessment, protective and risk factors for mental health—both on an individual and societal level—as well as the development and testing of psychological interventions.

Irena’s primary focus is advocating for the right to mental health and developing mental health care in Serbia, with an emphasis on increasing the availability and accessibility of mental health services based on recovery and human rights principles, as well as conducting research in this field. She is also involved in developing community-based psychological support programs and providing psychological and psychosocial support to various vulnerable groups, including refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, people with experience of psychosis and psychiatric treatment, and trauma survivors.

Irena primarily provides individual and group psychological support and psychotherapy, conducts psychological assessments, and engages in advocacy activities to improve the mental health care system for vulnerable groups, including people experiencing homelessness, those with psychiatric treatment histories, and refugees.
She is also focused on implementing mental health preservation programs and strengthening the capacities of helpers and employees through psychological support services and psychoeducational activities such as workshops, training sessions, and seminars. Additionally, she is interested in developing community mental health services and improving their accessibility for people in need.

Aleksandra’s professional role focuses on mental health protection and providing direct psychological and psychosocial support to children and youth, including refugee and migrant youth, youth without parental care exiting the social welfare system, and youth with behavioral problems.
Her primary interests lie in improving mental health care and increasing accessibility of mental health services for children and young people. She also works on preserving mental health and strengthening the capacities of helpers and employees through psychoeducational activities such as training, workshops, seminars, and support groups.

Isidora Živić

Isidora’s main professional focus is on protecting mental health and providing psychological and psychosocial support to individuals from marginalized and vulnerable groups, primarily refugees, asylum seekers, and people experiencing homelessness or insecure housing. She also works with children, youth, and families through individual and group counseling, psychotherapy, and psychoeducational activities, as well as conducting psychological assessments for children and adults. She has led numerous projects aimed at youth capacity building, promoting intercultural skills, and fostering a culture of acceptance in local communities. Additionally, she works on strengthening the capacities of professionals in educational institutions and helpers through psychoeducational activities such as training, workshops, seminars, and support groups.

Draga Šapić

Draga’s professional work is focused on implementing psychological support programs for vulnerable groups, planning and delivering educational and consulting services, and conducting research in the field of mental health.
She has over eight years of experience providing psychosocial support to various groups, including people on the move, youth, LGBTI individuals, and trauma survivors. She is trained in psychological assessment and couple psychotherapy. She is dedicated to developing and implementing employee mental health programs, including support for organizational development, particularly for civil society organizations. Her research focuses on mental health among vulnerable groups, trauma consequences, and burnout among helpers and activists. She is one of the coordinators and founders of CoReMH (Consortium for Refugee and Migrant Mental Health), a network of 25 members from 10 countries.

Jana Dimoski

Psychologist and researcher

Jana’s professional role primarily includes designing, conducting, publishing, and disseminating qualitative and quantitative research in the field of mental health and clinical psychology. Through research, she aims to better understand the experiences of vulnerable and marginalized groups, as well as the general population in need, protective and risk factors for mental health difficulties, and the social determinants of mental health. She also seeks to provide evidence-based guidelines for mental health policies and practices.
In her doctoral studies, she is focused on the psychology of aging and the lived experiences of older adults. The overarching focus of her work lies in applied psychological research with the goal of answering how science can inform practice—and vice versa. An important aspect of her work is advocating for the idea that scientific knowledge belongs to everyone and must be communicated to the general public in a clear, accurate, and accessible way.

Sara Dojčinović

Sara’s current work is largely focused on public advocacy for systemic changes to improve mental health care in Serbia, primarily through analyzing national and international frameworks, collecting data, conducting research, and analyzing public policies. She is focused on human rights, both in terms of the right to health and more broadly.
In addition to the general population, she aims to improve the status of children and youth through her work.
Her professional interests also include health and social psychology. She focuses on communication strategies and conveying scientific and research-based knowledge to the general public in a clear, accurate, and understandable way. Broadly, she is interested in how psychology as a science can guide practice and public policies toward social development and improving the status of various groups.

Jelena Jašović

Jelena completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology and has been collaborating with PIN since 2021 as a volunteer, officially joining the team in 2024. Since then, her primary role has been providing psychosocial services in the field. She conducts psychoeducational workshops and peer activities primarily aimed at marginalized and vulnerable groups, especially refugees, asylum seekers, and children and youth.
In her direct work with clients, she strives to convey mental health knowledge in a clear and interactive way, using artistic techniques—especially dance and drama. Her professional interests also include research, especially qualitative methods, and she participates in applied psychological research as part of the team.

Tatjana has years of professional experience in finance, administration, and accounting in both the private and public sectors. She joined the team in 2018 and has served as Finance Manager since then.
She is responsible for the organization’s overall financial operations, including monitoring project financial performance, processing and recording financial transactions, analyzing and preparing financial reports, payroll, budgeting, and expenditure control. Thanks to the organizational culture, wonderful team spirit, exceptional colleagues, and strong collaboration with donors, auditors, legal advisors, accountants, and many other associates, she is proud to be part of PIN.

Jovana joined the PIN team in 2019 and has since been responsible for preparing, recording, and archiving financial documentation. She oversees procurement processes, ensuring the most favorable financial conditions, delivery deadlines, and quality standards. She also participates in negotiations, monitoring, and procurement control in accordance with donor requirements and PIN’s internal procedures.
Her role includes other finance and administrative duties, implementing occupational health and safety measures, providing logistical support, liaising with external collaborators, and organizing various events.

Dragoljub Stevanović

Finance Assistant

Dragoljub is a renowned economist from Vranje, who has dedicated the largest part of his professional career to finance and accounting in non-profit organizations. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Niš and has worked in the private, public, and non-governmental sectors, specializing in finance and accounting
management for non-profit organizations. He has held public offices, such as city councilor in the local Assembly of the City of Vranje, President of the Budget and Finance Council of the Assembly of the City of Vranje, as well as Vice Mayor of the City of Vranje (2014-2016). He is fluent in English language and at a beginner level of Italian language.
